Settling in to Life at Home

Beau is 2 1/2 weeks old now and we are all starting to get used to having a baby in the house. Darcy has been a wonderful big sister! She has been enjoying story time with mommy and Beau and has even beaten mommy and daddy to the crib to check on Beau before they could get there. She is glad to have him in the family.



Beau is growing and changing everyday. He weighed 8 lbs 8 oz at a dr. appt on Friday and we can feel that he is steadily gaining! He has definitely grown out of newborn sizes and really fills out a 3 month size. He is starting to figure out his days and nights, but he still enjoys a little 3am party time here and there. Beau is a great little traveler in his carseat, and mommy and daddy have taken advantage of this and have been able to dine out with family a few nights.



Everyone in our household has really appreciated all of the kind words, calls, e-mails, meals, etc from friends and family. They have made our adjustment period much easier and have allowed us to spend lots of quality time with our new baby.
