Far (m) out, Mannnnnn!

We had an absolute blast at Junior League Day at Denver Downs Farm! There are SO many things to do: pumpkin patch, zip line, slides, rope swinging into hay bales, corn cannon, farm football, rubber ducky races, GIANT corn maze and climbing goats! And we did it all! Ride #1 on the cow train. Last year, I had to sit in the train with Beau but this year he sat all by himself like a big boy and did not try and climb out. You can see how thrilling it was for him. And his best friend, Dap, is riding right in front of him.

The pumpkin picking was SO fun. They were not very big this year, but that worked just fine for Beau.

"I gotta show this pumpkin to Daddy!"

"Found one!" Beau also found a tiny one for Henry Bear.

The pumpkin patch is the last stop on a very fun and absolutely beautiful hayride. Beau was thrilled to get pulled along by a tractor. So was I! They drove us right through the middle of the tall corn, and it was amazing.
Beau is methodical in his pumpkin selection. We all reached a consensus on the winning pumpkin - the one he is handling in the picture. Stem, color and shape were all important characteristics.

Hayride!

Look at that face. Do you think he was having fun?

Rubber ducky races! Beau really loved this.

Beau and Edward ran crazy in the hay bale maze!

They were both tuckered out after this.

The baby-wearing goddess! haha
Train ride #2. Beau called this the "mu tao twain" (moo cow train).

I don't want to say how long it has been since Edward has been on a football team (it would show his age!). However, you would have thought it was yesterday because he threw lots of footballs through the tires. And not just the close ones, but the far away ones, too! My hero.
