4 Months!

This kid can bounce!

Somebody loves Halloween!

All dressed up for church (technically it was not his 4 month birthday, but it was close enough)

Don't you love the hat? I love the hat! They don't stay this small for long, so I think it is nice to dress them like babies while I still can.

They are already such great pals!

I can't believe Henry is 4 months old already! Henry had his 4 month old check-up the other day and he is growing. He weighs 14 lbs, 4 oz and is 25.5 inches long. He is really doing very well with his baby milestones. He has been rolling from tummy to back for quite some time now, and he is so, so close to rolling from back to belly. Henry is so alert and aware of his surroundings for a little guy! He loves playing with rattles and toys ("playing" = slobbering on). He loves his baby gym and his new favorite activity is the doorway jumper. He LOVES it, and Beau loves to sit right in front of the bouncer and lend encouragement. Also, Henry has discovered another fun new toy - his feet. It has been so fun to witness Henry's new interest in his world around him.
The feeding is still not going well, but since Henry is holding his own in the weight department, we are just going to try a few minor things and see if we can all just hunker down and wait until he outgrows it (whenever that may be). He is sleeping at night, for which we are thankful. It is the days that are difficult. We think his milk protein allergy is causing him the most discomfort, but it is just really hard to tell for sure. Overall, we are just really thankful to know that he is a healthy little guy despite all of this feeding mess. Oh, and the doctor says not to start solids until 6 months old, so maybe Santa will put a container of stage 1 bananas in Henry's stocking. :-)
